The "rules" for using Pet Moments. We've tried to make these actually readable. No one should need a law degree to understand how to use an app.

The Short Version

  • Use Pet Moments to manage your pets' health info. That's what it's for.
  • Don't do anything illegal or harmful with the app.
  • We're not vets. Always consult a real vet for medical decisions.
  • Your data is yours. We just help you organize it.

What Pet Moments Is (And Isn't)

Pet Moments Pet Moments is an app that helps you organize your pets' health records, translate confusing vet notes into plain language, and keep your family on the same page about pet care.

Pet Moments is NOT a substitute for veterinary care.

We can help you understand your vet's notes, but we can't diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or give medical advice. If your pet is sick, please see a real vet. Your pet will thank you.

Your Account

You're responsible for your account. Pick a strong password and don't share it. If someone else accesses your account because your password was "password123", that's on you.

One account per person. You can add family members to share pet info (that's the whole point of the family sync feature), but each person should have their own account.

Be honest. Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Don't create fake accounts. Just be you.

Things You Can Do

  • Upload your pets' health records and documents.
  • Share access with family members, pet sitters, or anyone you trust.
  • Ask questions about your pets' records.
  • Set reminders for medications, appointments, and care tasks.
  • Download or delete your data whenever you want.

Things You Can't Do

  • ✕Use Pet Moments for anything illegal.
  • ✕Try to hack, break, or reverse-engineer the app.
  • ✕Upload content that isn't yours (like someone else's pet records).
  • ✕Use the app to spam, harass, or annoy other people.
  • ✕Pretend to be a vet or give medical advice using our platform.

Payments and Subscriptions

Free tier is free forever. The basic features will always be free. No bait and switch.

Paid plans are optional. If you want extra features, you can upgrade. Prices are shown before you pay.

Cancel anytime. No long-term contracts. No cancellation fees. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period.

Refunds. If something goes wrong, talk to us. We're reasonable people.

What We Promise

We'll keep the app running. We aim for high uptime, but sometimes things break. We'll fix them as fast as we can.

We'll protect your data. See our Privacy Policy for the details, but the short version is: we take security seriously.

We'll give you notice. If we need to make big changes to these terms, we'll let you know in advance.

The Fine Print (Sorry, We Have to Include This)

Pet Moments is provided "as is." We do our best to make it work well, but we can't guarantee it will be perfect 100% of the time.

We're not liable for decisions you make based on information in the app. Remember: we're not vets. Always consult a professional for medical decisions.

If there's ever a legal dispute (we hope not), it will be handled under the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. We'd prefer to just talk it out like adults.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll email you or show a notice in the app. Continuing to use Pet Moments after changes means you accept the new terms.
